The CHARDONNAY "PARTICELLA 3" is a wine crafted from a careful selection of grapes grown on a small plot (1,00 ha) in the most calcareous part of the hillside. This wine displays extraordinary elegance and refinement. In this area, the Chardonnay grape, which finds its optimal expression in the marl-limestone soils of the Collio, manages to retain the freshness typical of the world’s finest wine-growing regions, even whilst reaching a high level of ripeness.

The SAUVIGNON is a grape variety that, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, has developed an aromatic expression that is truly unique when compared to other parts of the world. Its name originates in south-western France and is derived from "sauvage" (wild), indicating its connection with the wild wine variety. It offers hints of fresh herbs and elderflower, but also features a beautiful core of ripe fruit. As a variety that does not thrive in overly hot conditions, it finds an ideal environment on the hills of Blanchis, where it expresses its character at its very best. It is a wine of remarkable depth, tempting and easy to enjoy, yet also quite polarising due to its aromatic profile. It is like someone with a strong personality, you either love them or hate them. And for us, it is always a great love!

The MANZONI BIANCO is a splendid grape variety created by Prof. Manzoni in the 1930s at the Conegliano School of Oenology. This cross between the delicate aromatic and mineral character of Riesling and the harmony of Pinot Bianco gives rise to an extraordinary grape variety, characterised by a low yield and a tough skin. Thanks to the gentle maceration process, it boasts an intense yellow colour, a pleasant bouquet reminiscent of yellow flowers and fruit, a lingering finish and an excellent balance of acidity and glycerine. It is an infinitely enjoyable wine thanks to its youthful character, yet as assertive as the grape varieties from which it is made.

The TORCHIATO DI FREGONA produced from the appassimento (drying process) of the three native grape varieties of Glera, Verdiso, and Boschera. According to the legend, in the 1600s, a winemaker was forced to harvest grapes before they were fully ripe due to an early frost. He laid the grapes on racks in his attic. The following spring, he was surprised to find the grapes had become incredibly sweet, yet hardened from the drying process. He decided to press them several times and left the resulting must to rest in small barrels, without much expectation. A year later, the first tasting lit up the farmer’s face — he realized he had discovered an extraordinary wine. Thus, Torchiato di Fregona was born.
The production of Torchiato di Fregona follows an ancient method. According to the official production regulations, no chemical additives are allowed — everything is done by harnessing the seasons, the unique microclimate of the Fregona area, and the winemaker’s experience.

Here, amongst the hills of ponca, the ancient calcareous marl that characterises these slopes, it develops a vibrant personality, combining freshness, savouriness, and aromatic depth. It opens with delicate notes of acacia blossom and hints of woodland undergrowth, accompanied by subtle mineral nuances. On the palate, it is lively and dynamic, enhanced by a pleasant tension that invites another sip. A wine that truly reflects the character of the Collio area: reserved at first, but ultimately revealing warmth and generosity.

The BLANC DE BLANCHIS RISERVA embodies the essence of the Collio area and our interpretation of the 2020 vintage. This Riserva is crafted from a blend of Friulano, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Malvasia grapers, grown on the Blanchis hillside. The favourable weather conditions of 2020 have produced wines of great character and structure, with intense floral and fruity notes, capable of ageing with elegance. For this reason, we choose to release it only after a long period of ageing in the cellar, when every nuance has reached its full expression.
