Ribolla Gialla is a Friulian autochthonous vine variety, which is able to express itself with a freshness and totally particular complexity, that only the limestone, called “ponca” is able to do in the Collio area. A fresh and light wine with acacia and forest scents that is well suited to all types of soup and particularly to fish dishes.

This white grappa of Loredan Gasparini is made from a strict selection of grape skins obtained from high quality grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec coming from the vinification of the red wine “Capo di Stato” (Head of State).
To enhance the parfumes and the grape varietie's characteristics, distillation is made in small copper still according to the traditional “bain-marie” discontinuous method. Traditional and elegant Grappa at 48°.

Good persistance lasts several minutes after the tasting, leaving a smooth bitterish sensation in mouth.

From our Grappa Capo di Stato, made from the distillation in copper alembics of unique wine marcs, obtained from the vinification of our historic red wine “Capo di Stato”, we obtain this precious RISERVA. Through its 60 months maturing in barriques,
previously used for the “Capo di Stato” red wine, this reserve acquires a beautiful amber hue with copper coloured glints. On the nose it has intense notes of cocoa, leather, liquorice and red fruits such as cherry and blackcurrant. On the palate it is smooth and elegant, characteristics that only wood aging can give. The clean aftertaste confirms the previous bouquet notes.

CARTE BLANCHE - BRUT Champagne is a 3-year cuvée that expresses the true spirit of the JEAN MICHEL Maison. It is unmistakable Pinot Meunier cultivated in the hills of Moussy, a small village 5km from Epernay, in the area defined as the Coteax d'Epernay and part of the wider Vallée de la Marne, area of choice for this fascinating vine.
The elegant dominant fruity note of Pinot Meunier (50%) is expertly assembled to the pleasant citrus note of Chardonnay (40%) and to the pure and mineral soul of Pinot Noir (10%).

Resulting from the infusion of aromatic herbs, spices and in particular of Radicchio Rosso, a typical chicory of our area. It has a medium intense aroma with hints of rhubarb, ginseng and citrus fruits. The taste is smooth and well balanced with again notes of rhubarb and ginseng followed by the citrus flavour as a result of the infusion of orange peel and bergamot. It has a long lasting aftertaste with a delicate slightly bitter note given by the Radicchio Rosso.

This grappa reserve is obtained by selecting the best marcs coming from the Marca of the Treviso, in the north of Venice. The distillation is done slow and controlled using the ancient system of copper boilers for steam, as the best tradition of Veneto region. Subsequently, this grappa is aged for at least 10 years in barrels of precious woods, acquiring a complexity that only time can offer.

Created in 1964 by Count Piero Loredan as a Special Reserve for official events hosted in Venice, it soon came to be prized and recognized all over the word. It is the result of old and unique clones and severe selection of the grapes grown in the oldest vineyard of the estate: “The 100 plants”(1946). This wine is for sure one of the most original e legendary Italian red wines, never flattened on the trivial frame fruit-oak.
Capo di Stato is complex with its juicy deep-ruby color. The nose has intense aromas of deeply ripe fruits (such as blackberry and black currant, toasted hazelnuts and dried petals of roses) all blended together with very particular hints of dewy musk and tempting sweet spices.

Produced from the appassimento (drying process) of three native grape varieties: Glera, Verdiso, and Boschera.
The production of Torchiato di Fregona follows an ancient method. According to the official production regulations, no chemical additives are allowed — everything is done by harnessing the seasons, the unique microclimate of the Fregona area, and the winemaker’s experience.
Legend has it that in the 1600s, a winemaker was forced to harvest grapes before they were fully ripe due to an early frost. He laid the grapes on racks in his attic. The following spring, he was surprised to find the grapes had become incredibly sweet, yet hardened from the drying process. He decided to press them several times and left the resulting must to rest in small barrels, without much expectation. A year later, the first tasting lit up the farmer’s face — he realized he had discovered an extraordinary wine. Thus, Torchiato di Fregona was born.
